Black Hills National Forest Map

The Black Hills National Forest Map produced by the US Forest Service contains the most current information on roads, trails, recreation sites, travel restrictions and contact phone numbers for the Black Hills National Forest.

Recreational opportunities abound on this 1.2 million acre "island in the plains." The Black Hills National Forest has something for everyone: campgrounds and picnic areas; cool lakes and streams known for their trout fishing; 310 miles of hiking, biking, skiing and riding trails; 350 miles of snowmobile trails; and wondrous scenery in any season.
Special attractions include Spearfish Canyon and Peter Norbeck Scenic Byways, Black Elk Wilderness and Norbeck Wildlife Preserve, the Centennial Trail, a world class snowmobile trail system, and Deerfield, Pactola and Sheridan Lakes.
