Gros Ventre Wilderness Map

The Gros Ventre Wilderness Map produced by the US Forest Service contains the most up-to-date information on access roads, trails, campsites, terrain, and points of interest within the Gros Ventre Wilderness. All wilderness maps contain contour lines and a topographic quad index, and the vast majority contain planning tips and contact phone numbers.

The Gros Ventre Wilderness lies just east of Jackson in western Wyoming. The name "Gros Ventre" is French, meaning "big belly." The Gros Ventre Wilderness lies within the greater Yellowstone ecosystem, an area internationally known for its wildlands, wildlife, geological features, scenic beauty, and recreation opportunities.
